Introducing the Net Zero Policy Network’s Doer’s Club

August 14, 2024

Recently published research highlights the urgency with which we need to establish clear, fair, and aligned ground rules for the net-zero economy. For this, increased collaboration between governments and businesses is essential. To facilitate and accelerate this process, the Net-Zero Policy Network launches a new members initiative: The Net-Zero Doer’s Club.

The Doer’s Club will be a hands-on way for Network members to engage, learn, and create change in the climate policy system. It will be organized around key policy themes of interest to the Network and critical for a successful transition to a net-zero economy.

For its launch, we’re inviting members of the Net-Zero Policy Network to select the Club’s initial focus areas. What climate policy issues would you like the hive-mind of our Network to tackle first? What challenges are you grappling with that would benefit from joined-up thinking from business, civil society, and researchers? Please share your ideas by completing this form.

As we get your feedback, we’ll plan a detailed structure for convening the Doer’s Club. Our quarterly thematic webinars will continue to be hosted as usual but with twenty minutes added at the end of each session to set the objectives for the Doer’s Club. The Club will then meet once a quarter to scope and deliver on priority actions. Your outputs and findings will then be shared in time for major conferences such as COP30 or Bonn 2025.
